Honest Fears (Denmark x reader)
“I’m scared.”
The words echoed around the small home, breaking cleanly through the late night silence.
(E/C) eyes snapped open to stare at him, her normal shade tinted with a bit of curiosity, but no surprise.
She slowly redressed herself from where she was draped over him as a second skin, to something akin to a sitting position, still cuddling up to him. He shifted from his laying back position ever so slightly to allow their eyes to meet.
They held each other’s gaze, searching.
Apparently satisfied with what he found, closed his eyes and let out a world-weary sigh, letting a hand run through his hair.

The witch, Alternate Path part 2(Denmark X reader)
“Mamma? What are you doing?” Emil asked me, looking at me with his beautiful violet eyes. He wasn’t a baby anymore, and I quite missed the times when he was, but he was just as curious and innocent as he had been four years ago. He had grown rather tall for a seven-year-old, and, if I guessed correctly, he would probably outgrow me by the time he was thirteen or fourteen years old.
“Nothing special.” I answered him. If it had been four or five years ago I would have picked him up and placed him on my lap, but he was too big for that now… “Just attempting to knit, it’s not going very well…

If you answered yes to that certain question in chapter 4, then this is the chapter you want, if you answered no, then click here: The witch, chapter 5, if no (Norway X reader)
To make sure that there is no confusion, this chapter comes after chapter 4 of The Witch. It is an alternate path to the main path (Norway's), and the main path can easily be read without reading this.
My mind was in turmoil, had Mathias really just asked me to marry him? Where did that come from? I alternated between not being able to think at all, to thinking way too much as I walked towards Yekaterina’s house. But I already have a child… Who even wants

The Man Who Can't be Moved (Denmark x Reader)
Mathias made his way down the street, kicking a rock in his path. With a sigh he pulled out his cellphone and dialed the same number for, what seemed like, the thousandth time this week. He waited anxiously as it rang preparing to leave (Y/N) yet another message.
“We are sorry. You have reached a number that has been disconnected or is no longer in service.”
“What?! She changed her phone number!?” The blonde male exclaimed as his phone slipped from his palms. He watched it clatter to the ground but only stared at it as he felt tears form in his eyes. “(Y/N) must be really desperate to keep me away if she went t

Denmark x Reader: The Angel
At the end of his life, Matthias KhØler felt like he hadn’t accomplished anything. He guessed the gods must have felt the same way. When he died, he was still on earth. Was he supposed to have done something to earn his way into heaven? It wasn’t his fault he died so young and couldn’t do anything! He was sitting next to his body, watching his friends and family cry over him. He was just one more victim of a sickness that ravaged the land. Was this his “life” now? Wandering the earth because his soul didn’t float up to heaven? He stood shakily and walked from the house – heart heavy with sorrow.
A/N: This story might mess you up a little. I had trouble writing it. As in, I was crying, but it hits a little close to home for me. I don't know about you.
14. Smile
If you were ever feeling down, there was always one thing you could count on to make you smile against your will. And that was Mathias’s smile. The energy he exuded was contagious to you, even if everyone else had built up an immunity to it. But you didn’t try to fight it. You enjoyed laughing with him and at his antics. He was most interesting to watch when talking to Lukas, Emil, Berwald, and Tino. He was particularly close to Lukas and Berwald. Kind of like a p

Viking!Denmark x Reader Part 4
Night was quick to fall upon the germanic lands, there was no light apart from the moon, the stars and the occasional torches that illuminated both the viking camp that had been laid just outside of the now destroyed town and the secret camp in the forest that belonged to the germanic people.
After a long week, the nordics had finally decided to have a rest before walking into the unknown terrain of the germanic forest where the dying warrior had admitted to be the place where his people were hiding along with (f/n).
A shuffle came from the bushes that consisted the entrance to the female's improvised cage; and from those same bushes emerged
